Situation: This hotel enjoys a peaceful location in the small town of Las Fraguas, some 50 km to the south of Santander. Unspoiled nature preserved within nature reserves, beaches beside the Atlantic Ocean and historical villages with architecture that is well worth seeing, are all to be found within 20 km of the hotel. The nearest large town lies 20 km away and offers a range of shopping and entertainment venues. Cantabria's beaches lie 25 km away and transfer to Santander airport takes roughly 30 minutes.

Lodging: The exclusive, comfortable rooms each come with an en suite bathroom with a hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, Internet access, satellite/ cable TV with a radio function and centrally controlled air conditioning. The suites are more spacious and feature a separate lounge.

Services: This hotel is housed within a historical building featuring a Medieval tower that dates back to the early 18th century. The 3-storey hotel featuring 16 rooms including 1 suite was lovingly restored in 2001. Facilities include an elegant foyer with a 24-hour reception desk, cosy café, a pleasant bar and a stylish air-conditioned à la carte restaurant. It is possible to make use of the in-house laundry service and those arriving by car may make use of the hotel car park or garage.

Sports: Canoe tours are possible on the nearby river and there are excellent facilities for horse lover in the hotel's near vicinity. The nearest golf course is 5 km away and it is about 1 hours drive to the nearest ski area, which lies 50 km away.
